ubuntu 16.04에서 postgres를 사용해보면서 service 명령어가 아니라 systemctl 명령어를 처음 사용해보았다. 그런데 계속 restart, start 등의 명령어로도 postgresql을 찾을 수 없다는 오류가 나와서 글을 찾던 중 SO에서 여러 버전의 postgresql이 깔린 경우에는 해당 버전을 다 적어주어야 한다는 말을 보고 시도해봤다. 결과는 성공!postgresql 9.5를 기준으로 작성한 명령어sudo systemctl restart postgresql@9.5-main.service

가끔 postgres가 서버에서 정상적으로 작동하지 않을 때 문제를 찾기 위해 로그를 뒤지거나 systemctl status postgres로 상태를 보는데, 그것보다 훨씬 쉽고 직관적으로 작동되는 모든 postgres list-dependencies를 확인할 수 있는 명령어가 있어서 남겨놓는다.sudo systemctl list-dependencies postgresql

django에서 migration 파일을 관리하다 보면, 서로 다른 곳에서 makemigration 명령어를 진행해 서로 같은 내용의 migration 파일이 이름만 다른 경우가 발생한다.
